Responsible Guider
Girl Guides of Canada - Guides du Canada, Kelowna BC - September 2009-Present

  • Responsible for all sensitive paperwork and relaying information to parents
  • Responsible for organizing unit-wide cookie selling events and handling of all money for both the Spring and Fall campaigns
  • Weekly task of managing and updating all records using Excel for program, attendance, camps, service and interest badges for 15+ girls
  • Plan weekly meetings covering required program work making sure it is entertaining and enjoyable for the girls
  • Lead planning for a weekend camp for over 35 girls and adults
  • Taught girls about computer hardware, software and basic HTML in January 2010
  • Assisted in taking 15 girls to Vancouver for a sleepover with more than 7,800 other girls and leaders in May 2010
